Dell 9200, Format and Re-Install

Just got a Dell 9200 Core 2 Duo 6700. I paid for the Windows XP Media Center Backup CD but didn't think I'll need the resources CD!
Now my problem is that I want to format the HDD to partition it the way I want and also to get rid of all the crap Dell bundles in!
I got a Graphic Card ATI X1300 Pro and Sound is built in, but I didn't get any drivers for it! Is this normal!? I expected to get drivers for at least the Graphics Card! Does anyone know if Dell save the drivers on the hard disk and how to extract all those files!? I got the I386 which is the operating system but nothing I can't find anything else!
I'd like to know where to get the drivers from and if its a good idea to format and re install.
Normally do you format the HDD after it comes form Dell? or do you prefer to stay with all the dell crap!?
    Thanks

You can get the drivers from the Dell website.

Stick your service tag in here:

Thanks, done that! Can you also answer if it's a good idea to format and re install!? I mean will it effect the dell warranty or anything like that!?
I can't stand all those dell pop ups on start up!

reinstalling windows will not affect your warranty in any way, format and reinstall is always a good way of reinstalling windows as it allow you to start with a fresh copy of windows that you can then customise as you want it, partitions, software, etc
