New Ultimate Force champion. Aaron won by armbar against journeyman, Micky Young who stepped in as a last minute replacement to fight for the UF title.

    Congrats buddy.

I would hardly class Mickey Young as a journeyman considering in my opinion the term is normally given to fighters that are not really expected to achieve anything.Mickey fought against Billy Harris in Belfast last sunday before taking this fight a few days later. As the Dutchman stated on the fighttalk website I would like to see a re-match when Mickey has a bit of time to prepare.

HA - Journeyman? Im sure he'd love that term being used about him!!!

Mickey is an excellent competitor and trainer and well said by 'wee mate' on emphasising mickeys willingness to take the fight at such short notice especially after fighting on the Halloween Brawl card a mere 6 days previous!!!

Congratulations to duchman and the win, well done.

Before we get our panties in a twist, I think you should both go look up the term journeyman for it's definition. It appears you've both misconstrued it.
Journeyman: "An experienced and competent but undistinguished worker."

It was not a derogatory dig at Micky. I've seen him fight before and he's hardy for sure. I was just being descriptive. Nitpickers.

and I really think you need to read over your post before you submit it.I ststed in my post that the translation of the term was used to describe a fighter that was not expected to acheive.......you basicly backed that up with your quote.'experienced, competent but undistinguished'.I will take it that you didnt mean anything insulting but still........journeyman?come on!

I didn't mean it in a disparaging way.. I just meant it as a guy with alot of experience still yet to reach his full potential.

ok case closed.I would however still like to see Mickey back out again with enough time to get ready, taking two fights in the space of a few days cannot be good. Not taking away from the Dutchmans win which Im sure was well deserved but Mickey is a good fighter that with the proper prep would probably give a different account of himself.
