Anyone out there got any bits and pieces for a '65 Fiat 600 ? Does anyone have a restored one ? Any interest in this model ?

I did one about 5 years ago for a customer. As long as the inner shell is sound they're a piece of cake. Try Fancy Engineering for parts, they do most of the stuff new i.e. body panels and trim. You could also buy one in Italy quite cheaply and paint it up, it might be as cheap.

This car was built in different countries around the world from I955 - 1986.

The last Seat version was in 1973 and also built by them was a van and a 4 door version. The last Yugo was in 1986. It is also reported that the car may have again been built in Turkey up to 1995?

Wow, never saw a 4dr version before, wouldn't have thought it was possible.
The 600 saloons come up on ebay fom tile to time and they seem to be less than half the price of a 500. Good value if you could find a clean one!

The four door version was only available in Spain as Seat was building fiats under licence. The company made some of their versions of the Fiats unique by adding 2 doors to cars like the 850, I27 and this 600.

In Italy there was also a Jolly version which was coachbuilt by Ghia. Its very rare and now very expensive. It featured a parosol roof and no doors.
If you collect model cars, you might find one made by Corgi during the I960s.

There is also a Fiat Multipla van with a rear end body similiar to that of the 900 van.

In Yugoslavia the car was built until I986. If you type the word Zastava you might find one for sale. At the moment there is one for sale in Slovenia and it was built in I98I. Its starting price is at 2,000 Euros. The car featured above is probably one of the last, from I986.
