Yep, today's tournament is a go and ready for registeration. Times have been fixed for all the tournaments and they now all kick off at 9:00 PM Irish time...

Anyone know any good articles online where i can read up on the difference between this game and NLHE, ive never played before so a crash course would be very helpful.

ok im trying to google some beginner guides and there is so many variations, is this omaha hi/lo pot limit split or whats the official name. I dont want to spend an hour reading about the wrong game:o

Ye, except it's not Pot Limit. It's just Limit so there is a defined amount you can bet or raise.

Its limit hi/lo split, lo 8 and below. A23x is good, 89JQ is bad. Marq is a bit of a luckbox when i comes to this variation.

guys cant find this on Pokerstars - can anybody help? Ive rarely played Omaha never mind hi/lo and il be playing the qualifier to the PPOpen at the same time but il happily donate a tenner..

Ok, ive done my omaha crash course and it seems very simple:eek: but im confused about one thing

if i have AK72 and board comes 3469K

Does this mean i can use AK as my 2 cards for the High and A2 as the 2 cards for the low or can i only use the same 2 cards for both

Ill have a quick tourney first to see if i can get a bit of practise

You can use different cards for both the Hi and the Lo pot, so yes you'd use AK for the Hi and A2 for the Lo.

1 more silly question, if i have AAKK and board flops 234kk can i use AA for the low pot for this hand AA234 or would the AA in their be allowed because they are a pair

A certain someone called my threebet preflop with 7553ss no jokes. Of course this certain someone called my raise on the flop with middle pair and a draw to a 7-low. And he hits trips on the turn. I cleverly checked behind on the river to leave me with 2 big blinds.

Amazed i got as far as i did, honestly didnt know what was going on for the first couple of hands and actually won a few pots. Its when i started to cop on how to play that i started giving away my stack, my tripple queens ran into Vertigo's straight and i was clinging on after that.

Anyway, just wondering is there a regular online holdem NL tourney between boards members, wouldnt mind a game of that and at least id have some idea of what im at.

Enjoyed the game tonight. Hit some nice hands at the right time. Musos early run of sick sick luck ran out and in the end, quality shone through.

As an aside, the Stars Limit O8 games are an absolute goldmine.

Does anyone want to do a prop bet that i'll get more points than them say a $100. I'll take the first 5 offers.
This is huge +EV for whoever takes it up as I can only play NLH and I don't even play that well. Currently in 18th spot.
