Yeah I did it.. Wasn't impressed with the massive queue & 1 person taking names. We were helping them out & you'd think they'd have organised it a bit better..
What did you think of the IQ test itself? Didn't get to finish the first part at all. I think the trick was not to count the letters in that sentence? The guy beside me almost finished the test & he said he just guessed the number of letters!
Disappointed that we're not gonna get the results for the big test though, woulda liked to see how I did in that too.

Yeah it was badly organised. Plus what ruined the first test was yer wan reading out the questions and answers, particular when the questions were timed as it was impossible to concentrate when she was talking.

of the real iq test, i didnt finish the first test but did finish the second in plenty of time. My mate was the total opposite. Funny.

Yeah thats exactly what I thought, she was doing my brain in talking, especially for the ones like moving the books on the shelf.. I only starting concentrating when she stopped talking & by then the next question had started!
Found the anagrams quite difficult. Usually not bad at them, but obviously not good at them in a short space of time. Will be interesting to see what my results are. I finished the second test no bother too, was well pissed off I didn't finish the first one though.

Certainly wont be watching the tv show on new years day if saturday was anything to go by. It was piss poor organisation and with the exception of a few funny video clips which were used to test memory & observation it was pretty boring taking part so I can only imagine it would be worse again on TV :o They had the ex-president of Mensa there and his microphone stopped working half way thru his speech and he didnt even notice....as one lad shouted out "not so intelligent after all" ;)

Just curious to know who the 'Irish Celebrities' were who were scheduled to be on hand - also what kind of prizes were raffled at the end of the Test and did anyone here win? Any freebies? How's about the tea and coffee? Any bickies? Was all ready to participate but not well..from the sound of it I didn't lose out too much - fair play to everyone who turned up tho!
