VLC and subtitles

    Hi i was wondering would anybody be able to help e with a problem i am having. I want to watch a korean movie i got off of a torrent ( obviously it is a homemade movie with no coryright or anything on it).

    the thing is i speak korean . there is however a file with the movie that has the text in english . I think its and SR file or something like that. Do any of you guys know if or how you can get the wordds to appear underneath the movie in the media player?

    Have you tried: File -> Open File -> Tick Subtitle Options -> Settings -> browse to subtitle file..?
