anyone got a quick and easy guide to fitting a choke cable to a bandit 600

mine came without one "to save on weight"....
now that the winter mornings are starting im going to need to leave the choke open for a minute or 10 to get the engine running warm.
ive bought the cable but cant see how its meant to attache anywhere.

i guess i havem to disassemble the clcutch indicator section which isnt a big deal, ill just fool around till it connects up.
i just cant see what way it attached to the little lever at the carbs.
i can pull the lever open with my finger which will open the choke so everyhting works.

anyone familiar with this setup, and do i need anyhting more than the cable?
springs / special tools / etc...

Can't say to the 600 but I just fitted a cable to my Honda 400, it's a fairly simple task and you should'nt need any extra tools. The cable should have a small ball of lead at either end. At the throttle assembly end there should be a lever with a small hole in it that the ball of lead fits into. Screw in the cable at the handlebar end first, then run the cable in. There should be a groove that the cable slots into before the throttle assembly. Once you slot in the leaded end place the cable in the slot and run the nut up to tighten, its also a good idea to drop some wd40 into the cable to ensure it slides in and out properly.

    thanks for the reply,
how did it connect up at the other end?
i cant see anything the cable should attache to down there.

did you run the cable under the petrol tank?
