I mean he has gotten some credible contenders, like Lil Jon for example, but there are very few artists who have such huge huge ego's and show such little respect for their fellow artists as Kanye did when he started whining and bitching about not winning a second award at the EMA's.Especially considering
his video wasn't actually that good.

tbh I only saw a bit and all the videos nominated were very bland. But yeah Kanye is fierce up his own arse, even Diddy doesnt come close.

I saw this live and wasn't sure whether he was taking the piss or being serious. If it was a joke then it weas pretty funny because he was willing to take the piss out of himself, but if it wasn't he has just shown how much of an idiot he is.

but back to my main point kanye regardless of how he acts has still got two good albums better than 90% of rap out at the moment

I must say i just love the Jesus Walks beat, would've love to hear Rhymefest's verse on it though. But for me the best thing that happend on Late Registration was the verse of Jay-Z on Diamonds. Kanye is nearly an avarage rapper he should stick to be the man behind the buttons.

Kanye briefly held the crown until P-Diddy came out a couple of days ago, renouncing 'bling' as he didn't 'need to show off anymore'.
He actually thinks he's a complete icon.
And at whatever party he was at, he wore a black t-shirt, just one chain (aw bless, just one) a huge chunky silver/platinum thing that probably cost more than the annual salary of most and chugged down champagne out of a giant bottle. So no need to show off then? :rolleyes:

When something boils down to a matter of opinion, you don't really have a right to be annoyed at all, and neither does Kanye. Some people thought another video was better than his. If he wants to ever have a chat with me I will fill him in on hundreds of other videos that are better than his, and thousands of songs.

When ever you go to do anything you need to accept that some people will not thing you are the GOAT, regardless of how brilliant you yourself think you are. Kanye was pissed because his record label paid good money to have Pammy running around with her norks hanging out and lots of extra's and effects and garbage….and someone put together a pretty cheap video of house party pranks and it beat him. Boo hoo.

I prefer the second video myself….a little more original and funny and not about how great the artist is. The simple fact is that it's the catogory of video's that a lot of mainstream rap tunes are at there weakest, and the awards show is the Video Music Awards, so the video being original and up to scratch should be a major consideration. At the end of the day I think people are getting sick of seeing rappers, rockers, pop diva's whoever the hell prancing around in video's designed purely to show how rich and happier and better than they viewer they are supposed to be.

Do I believe there were better video's out last year, hell yeah. Was one of them Kanye's? nope, not at all.

anyway, after seeing that video of him bitching about the effort he put into his album and crying about the possibility of not getting a Grammy from a couple of years ago, this just re-affirms my view that he's a spoilt little baby who needs to shut the **** up about the mediocre music he's pumping out now, and should go back to producing.
