I was just wondering what people thought of PIAB. Will it succeed or fail in the long run? Also, was it a good idea or a bad idea to cut solicitors out of the loop? I've read that it led to very negative feelings between the legal and insurance industries but I was curious to know peoples thoughts on the matter generally. And if anyone has the answer to this, is it true that the introduction of PIAB was supposed to lead to reduced insurance costs for the general public and has this happened?
