    Cut and pasted from pocketfives.com

Along with these interviews, I will be picking a hand or two from the week that caught my eye, usually because of the large amount of money exchanging hands. The hands I will pick will be from a variety of games, not just NL Texas Holdem’. For my short introductory article, I wanted to share a hand with you guys that was played a couple nights ago, October 24th, on FullTilt at one of their $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables.

The table was six handed, and the action opened under the gun when Arbianight raised to $1,400. Right behind him, TILT_BOB matched the bet. The action was then to cash game pro Brad Booth, who plays under the name LFISGD, who elected to raise the pot to $2,411. Online cash game monster Patrick Antonius (Luigi66369) called the small raise. The action was back to the initial raiser Arbianight, who put in anther small reraise. TILT_BOB then made it $15,488 to go, and Booth and Antonius both made the call. It was back to Arbianight, who after a second of thought shoved for $66,543 all in!!! TILT_BOB called the remaining $27,877 he had left, and he was followed by Booth and Antonius, both of whom called the $55,055 on top of their bet!

After a flop of 5s 3d 3c, Antonius bet just over $43,000 into the side pot between Booth and him. Booth, who was sitting with just over $6,000 left, was more than committed. Since all the players chips were in the middle, the cards were flipped up:

Antonius - Qs Ks, Qh, Jh for a pair of Queens.
Arbianight - 7h 10h Ah Ac for a pair of Aces.
TILT_BOB - 9d 10s As Ad for a pair of Aces as well.
Booth - 3s 8c 4c 7s for a set of threes but by far the worst hand pre-flop.

The turn brought the 6c, and it was followed by the 4d on the river, giving Booth a boat and the pot of just over $225,000!! It was a huge hand and one that if you didn’t see, I thought you would like to hear about.

    Sick, sick sick sick.

This hand has been discussed to death on 2+2. Booths hand isn't a huge underdog in the hand so he played it fine.

He played it fine? Looking at the preflop aciton, I can't see how he could have played it any worse.

Given the other hands he is the favourite to win (about 33%)
