Getting RTE to stay on Sky

I have sky+ and live in N.Ireland - my query is this: I can get sky to show me RTE1 and NET 2 most of the time, the only time it goes off air is when there is sport on it eg English premier league,champs league. Does anybody know how to overcome this?

Short answer is, you can't.

Only an Irish Sky subscription to Sky will allow you to see those games.
