I am going into tools > internet options > and deleting them all from there and the history and cookies..

When i type an adress into the URL bar there are still suggestions coming up... should they not all be deleted from the temp folder....

just curious to know why this is and any help on fixing it, ran a norton anti virus and dont seem to have any viruses

    Clear history aswell.

    Might require a restart aswell.

address bar stuff is handled differently...I'm going to assume you are using ie?

Tools/Internet Options/General Clear History restart browser.

Also - get IE7 handles the cleanup a little better.

I think the address bar stuff is Autocomplete so to clear that go to Tools->Internet Options->Content->AutoComplete->Clear Forms and untick the boxes beside Web Addresses.
