    Sweet, I am in the market for a new card so may make the plunge for that. EDIT, wonder if there are any decent usb2 dvb-s devices that would be similar in spec? Would be handier as I have a laptop and pc.

    High bandwidth DVB-S2 services for notebooks and PCs. The TT-connect® S2-3600 is an external, high performance and cost effective DVB-S receiver that allows for connection to a notebook or personal computer via USB version 2.0. It was specifically designed to meet the consumer’s needs as well as the needs of professional customers for easy installation (plug & play) and to use as well as mobility.     recording, and for time shift features. In addition, the small and light weight design combined with a 12V power supply
    makes the device perfect for professional or personal travel needs. An easy-to-use multilingual data management utility is
    provided to adjust channel and filter settings and to monitor incoming data. For third-party software developers an open
    API (application programming interface) is available.

    Technotrend design/make it. I talked to both companies at the IBC show. They both agree they work closely together. But the exact relation ship they are coy on.

    Technisat are more going into set boxes and integrated TVs. Technotrend design and PC products, but more self marketing and less OEM, (except obviously the close "connection" with Technisat).
