Is there a method of searching whois for the Administrative contact Name? I want to know how many domains a particular individual has registered, mostly .com sites. Thanks.

Short answer - no

You could possibly find out more about which domains a particular person has using online tools, such as domaintools.com, but I wouldn't expect you to be able to get much useful information that way
