Extendable or Extendible ??

Sorry I couldnt find the spell czech forum... or actually is there one? Anyway how do you spell extendible/extendable ?? With an 'i' or an 'a' ?? I searched on google and the free dictionary on line but both spellings seem to be acceptable. But is one way american and the other way english?? Thank you!
