iomega external disk drives

    Hi All

    just picked up a 320gb usb Iomega hard drive for 139.99e from Contec in Maynooth (01-6292300). Whilst its no speedfreak as a backup device its excellent.

    Other sizes/prices

    Iomega 500gb 209.99e
    Iomega 250gb 119.99e
    Iomega 80gb 99.99e

    Point to note is that they had not updated the prices on the box's ( the 320gb was priced at 179.99e instead of 139.99 ) so grab their instore brochure where the price is as stated above.

    the Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 250gb is currently €122 including postage from Komplett at the moment. I got one last week and I am very happy with it.

    Which is better?

    I'm not to for from Maynooth and am looking to get a new HD as my one is down to its last 8gig
