.50/.50 caash game eight players average stack about 60euro

two limpers before villian a tight player makes it 3 to go i call with king jack. One other caller and everyone else folds/ Other caller is big blind and is loose probably played about 60% of hands.

    Flop J K 10 rainbow.

BB checks villian makes it ten. What is my move here? thinking is BB will fold and is this bet a continuation bet?

    1. push all in will be about another 40 villian as i have him covered?
    2. flat call?
    3. Reraise him?
    4. fold?

    dont call raise preflop

i'd push - the only hand i can see you being behind to here is TT
...although i have a very bad feeling about the outcome ;)

I think they're more likely the villains holding than tt!

    ...surprise surprise :p

AQ - Would he bet the pot with the nuts??

KK/JJ highly unlikely considering aodea's holding??

Lol Bops you're joking about reraising preflop right?

I'd play this hand very cautiously. Sets, AQ etc are all in this guys range.

I'd call and reevaluate on the turn.

Cause that's exactly what we don't expect him to do ;)

If he's tight and raised preflop, this is his kinda flop, a check would just be suspicious. + he wants to build a pot...

Betting with the nuts is the new slowplaying.

man you gotta be joking me with this.

"would he bet with the nuts?" oh no you should only bet with marginal hands, and bluffs and semi bluffs but never with the nuts !!!

so outcome of the hand i push all in the villian calls and flips over pocket jacks for a set and takes down the hand!

ok side notes villian is actually me. So how does a. the villian play the hand? and b. how does the person with kj play the hand?

    JJ - aodea
    KJ - ditpoker

Anto (an uber-rock) makes it 3, i call with KJ suited. My range was quite wide last night and i was calling most preflop bets and raising when in position. flop comes down KJT, and anto leads for 10. I figured he was strong, but not THAT strong, maybe AK. i pushed, got called, lost a tank! i think i can fold this hand , or at least play it better and save some money. Anto's raising range includes AQ JJ and TT, all hands that beat me, his 10 bet killed me, if he checks to me i get suspicious. nh, wp, gg.... fu! :p

    Stupid post deleted.

Calling raises with KJo is ok sometimes in position once the hand is played extremely cautiously as the hand has big reverse implied odds as demonstrated perfectly by this hand.

If the preflop raiser is tight, I prefer to fold preflop.

In the hand, I like to call the flop bet and would often fold the turn to serious action, as all we're beating on the turn is AA or AK.

sadly for me the turn brought a ten for a KJTT board, which would have made it EASY to fold on the turn... should have flat called... :(
