Error message on 3 win2k pc's

    Hi got the following error that just cropped up on 3 windows 2000 pc's at the same thme

    "c:\winnt\system32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code 0
    that system will now shut down and restart"

    and they do just that, has anyone come accross this before?
    google didnt help much , mostly pointed to code 128 and not code 0 like im getting,

    First thing i suspected was a virus maybe

    Have you ran a virus/adware scan yet?

    could be a virus e.g. the blaster worm had similar behaviour it would shut down the pc after 60 secs and restart, affected both xp and 2000 afaik, are all pcs fully patched as m$ released a patch to stop this behaviour
