Breakology, Bodytonic and Corona are proud to present one of the pioneers of electronic music and one half of possibly the most creative and influential electronic act on the planet; Phil Hartnoll along with his new project Long Range.
Phil and his brother Paul spent almost two decades on top of the electronic pile as Orbital, voted by 'Q magazine' as one of the top 50 acts to see before you die. One of their last ever gigs was at the ****** Festival in 2004, where they tore the house down. They released a total of 11 albums (one less than the beatles) and their songs featured on films such as The Beach, The Saint, Hackers and many more.

But it's Phil's new project Long Range, that has grabbed everybody's attention. Phil has teamed up with producer Nick Smith who has had his music used on films such as Hannibal. Their sound harks back to the ambient genius that was Orbital, from blissed out moments to jarred and broken beats - it refuses to be pigeonholed.
They will appear in Dublin performing an Ableton set, combining elements of their critically acclaimed full live show and a traditional DJ set, which will be followed by a Phil Hartnoll DJ set featuring a mix of Orbital clasics and whatever else takes his fancy. He might even test out the soon to be released new track from Orbital.

The gig takes place in Crawdaddy on the 17th of November and starts at 11.30pm.
Support on the night comes from Breakology resident Phulu. Tickets, priced €20, will be available from Bodytonics new bar; The Bernard Shaw, 11-12 Sth Richmond Street, Portobello, Dublin 2 and City Discs, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
