I am 16 and would like to get a tattoo and my parents say its ok and will come with me. Can anyone tell me where I could get it done in Dublin and if they do the 10 year ones.

You can't get temporary tattoos, unless you get something like a henna tattoo.
That tattoo is still going to be on your cousin in ten years time, but it'll look like crap and probably be quite faded. Any "tattooist" that tells you, they can give you a tattoo that lasts ten years is money grabbing and seriously deluded.
Either go all or nothing. But your 16..so just wait another 2 years.

I've heard of this non-permanent ink. A tattoo artist in London told me that it it didn't really work out. For those who wanted rid of it after 5/10 years it didn't normally fully fade and for those who wanted to keep it they needed to get massive portions redone/coverup existing parts at great difficulty to the artist cuz massive portions were faded at different degrees in different parts. If you find somewhere that will tattoo you knowing your 16 then they're probably not going to be worth going to.

Personally I think it's bad form that studios continue to sell these tattoos as semi-permanent when the reality is that they're permanent.

There is no such thing as a 10 year tattoo or 3 year tattoo or anything of the like.
    tattoos are permanent!
If a person's tattoo has faded badly over a number of years, it's because of poor care, exposure to sun and most of all, bad tattooing at the start.

Trust me, you don't wanna tattoo yourself at 16, your body is still growing and so are you as a person.. it's not a good idea.
relax think more about it, look up the history a little, at least wait til your 18.
    you will regret it otherwise.

There's no such thing as a ten year tattoo, it's just a normal tattoo but they don't let the ink penetrate as deeply. It DOESN'T disappear. It just turns into a mess.

You're 16. Any tattooist who knowingly tattoos a child has questionable ethics and most likely has questionable skills and bad hygiene.

    Thread locked.
