    The word "sniper" i think you'll find has bad juju round these parts..it infers a bit of a rambo complex and isnt relative to either hunting or target shooting.

    oh yea i know that Degs but its from a thread in news&media forum in relation to the "sniper" with a "high-powered rifle/catapult"....... changed after two days to "airgun/catapult" incident in cork

    Its just his interpetation of the dictionary. Everyone should know by now that information is not always clear and can be inturpreted in several ways alot of the time .Take the definition of a gun under irish law currently a spud gun is a licensable firearm.
