    hi a friend of mine has ordered sky hd and has been waiting for the last 5 weeks for the card ! any time he rings he gets the usual rubbish from sky about its on the way is this wait normal ?

    'fraid so. They can't make the boxes quickly enough, apparently. They automatically give you a 3-month lead in, but you may get it quicker - I got mine in two.

    Yeah tbh is right it also is gonna get much worse now as the chrimbo is coming and everyone is gonna start getting HD.

    Tell your friend its well worth the wait. Very nice ;)

    I was waiting two months for mine, got mine two months ago....and now I'm moving house :rolleyes: typical.

    It shouldn't take five weeks to receive the card however. It's usually delivered 5-10 postal days after being ordered.
