ntl digital error 1014

    Picture froze last night so plugged out set top box to reset and it came back "set top box cannot find any services error 1014". Customer care say someone from their technical department will contact me within 48 hours. Have tried reset and switching off at mains and nothing. Is there anything i can do before i get a technican out. Any advice would be great

    Have the same problem for the past 2 days. Customer Support blamed it on the bonfires on Halloween! They're sending an engineer out to me on Monday tho I suspect the problem is at their end. Still have to pay for the 'no service' though.

    An engineer is coming to me on tuesday. The girl on the phone gave me the number for their credit line. 01 245 8180 Ring this and they should deduct your lost time

    It's back since yesterday! Didn't do anything it just popped back up!
