Player A has 9 10 h and is after bb.

Player B(hero) has 8 9 d and is on the button.

Equal stacks of about €80 or so and game is .25/.50

Player A calls €.50 and raises €2.50

MP calls and player B calls. SB and BB fold.

Flop 5h6h7d

A checks, MP checks, B raises €15.

Turn 8c and A checks

Anyone else not go broke here?

This hand is horrible. There is 7.50 in the pot on the flop and the guy bets 15? And the other guy raises to 5bb preflop and then checks having flopped a gutshot, flush draw and overcards? This hand makes no sense whatsover

Ah the good old HJ post style.

It makes perfect sense if you accept that perhaps every hand is not played perfectly.

Please correct where appropriate

Also you need a new name for 'HJ's post style'. Something catchy like 'HJ's hearts and minds posting style'
