Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im thinking of learning to play the banjo. but the thing is . is it hard to play? do they cost much? should i buy a new or secondhand one?

I often thought of buying one but never got around to it. I've already got 2 keyboards, a piano, an electric guitar, a trumpet, a clarinet and a violin. Mrs crosstownk would kill me if I took up another instrument!!!

I've no idea as to how easy/difficult it is to play.

you have to be a bit more specific, there are a good few different types of banjo. I play a tenor banjo which has four strings and is suites to irish traditional music. Other banjos work for other genres. I strongly recommend this site if you interested in banjos http://www.banjohangout.org
