    Hi,
Was wondering if anyone has been in the audience of the Tubridy Tonight show at RTE?
Can anyone tell me what we can expect?
    Thanks.

They will give you wine before bringing you in, and tell you to have a good time and a laugh. Bit of music, and a few jokes I think, and then you just watch the interviews like anyone else at home. He does a bit of audience interaction as well IIRC.

Thanks Steveire. Free wine? I'm liking the thought already! :D

Actually, I'm really dreading the audience interaction bit. Is there a safe corner to sit in without being on TV or getting picked on?!

Also, is there any way of finding out before hand who may be on the show?

Hup.. Its not free wine.... if you are a taxpayer ,you are paying for it.

The person in the audience that's picked to answer the questions to win a prize for everyone is already picked before the show goes on air.

When I was in the audience on the first night Tubridy Tonight came back on air in Sept Ryan came out about 20 mins before show went on air and mixed with the audience and again during the intervals. He was very funny, so are the band, if they sing Bush destroyer of the universe you'll have a right laugh. He doesn't take himself seriously and we got to see a very funny side to him that you wouldn't normally see.

Ryan really interacted with the audience at every opportunity unlike Pat Kenny for the Late Late Show.

You find out who's on the show before it goes live. It's a very entertaining evening especially if he's got good guests on the show.
