Just picked one up there. Haven't time to read it yet, but looks promising (I have to say having The Provost on Trinity's future coupled with a section based on Barrett gels together nicely!)

Not online yet, but hopefully will be soon.

I haven't read it thoroughly yet, but a quick scan through it would indicate it to be very promising. The TN is going from strength to strength, it seems.

    Is there another Agent column?

TN issue 2 really good. They are really kicking the record's ass this year. Well done guys.

Yes there's another Agent column. Myth, didn't you used to be someone? :D.

Very good again. Well done lads.

Thought it was a strong issue - layout is excellent (especially the news pages and in TNT) and the structure of the whole thing makes it very readable.

Bit surprised that no-one's mentioned the editorials yet - one calls for fees to be re-introduced and the other says that one-year students shouldn't be given rooms on campus because they're not exactly in a position to contribute to the sense of community.

Was also v impressed that Andrew83 took the picture of Paul McGrath playing in Euro 88 that features on the Sports Features pages. :D

Would have been funnier if I wasn't mentioned on page 2 :D

Just read through it now and it seems very professional, kudos to those who put it together. Quite a few interesting articles and a good overall layout, in clear contrast to the University Record, which has yet to improve noticeably on last year. The Agent column is already starting to get tedious, which is quite a feat after only two outings. It's exactly the same old ****e as before, the usual bitching coupled with an unhealthy obsession with the machinations of the Hist. There's a pretty robust attack on the Agent in the letters page, I have to say it raised a smile or two.

BTW, great to see Matt the Jap writing an article for the TN!

    The Agent wrote:
In the meantime, good old Joey “live long and prosper” Delaney has taken himself out of the running for Welfare Officer – a wise move – and it now looks like this year’s car crash campaign for Welfare will be Blaithnaid “I tried to RON Denise Keogh” Deeney. Don’t do it, Blaithnaid! Dee “My boyfriend used to be somebody” McClean is another early hitter on the campaign trail – with Denise Keogh’s campaign machine behind her she’ll go far.

me thinks its time for a letter to the agent....

The reviewer for Sunn O))) did a good job but the photo was from a completely different gig. Attila didn't wear sunglasses and The Lord was wearing black robes, not white robes. The continuity is not kvlt!

the new Firefox 2 has a spell-checker included!

if you are typing a post, email, or filling in a form, it underlines any mis-spellings in red (ala Microsoft Word).

boards.ie will be a better place!

If you get Firefox 2 does it bring across all favourite type things you have saved below the address bar? Also does it bring across your plug ins?

For The Agent to know so much about the people he slags it means he's just as bad. And now it's useless now that everyone knows who is behind it.

So what did people think of the features section then?
