    Thursday November 9th @ Wax

Technasia **DJ Set [Sino - Hong Kong / Paris]
    Rian Ryan [Electric City]

    Admission - e12 / e10 with flyer / members

This Thursday sees the mighty Technasia come to EC for a firing DJ set to set the all new Wax floor on f-f-f-fire. Charles Siegling is one on the hottest DJs around and counts people like Dave Clarke & Laurent Garnier as his biggest fans. His Plus Mix from 2001 and the FUSE mix compiled two years later are two of the most rocking dynamic mixes to get us up the M50 over the past few years. Killer tracks from Chicago, Detroit, Berlin alongside many of their own their own dynamite productions pepper these mixes. What makes them really stand out aside from the track selection is the constant tweaking, filtering and really working the records that makes Technasia DJ sets unmissable. Ghetto rocking tracks from DJ Funk and the Waxmen stand tall alongside killer releases from Keith Tucker, Jeff Mills and Joris Voorn for a rolling mix through the years. Busy travelling the globe and releasing on his own Sino and Technasia imprints, Siegling also finds the time for his side project 'Star Tracks' label which is a hush-hush limited edition label of DJ tools that stay in the boxes of those who know. This year has seen Siegling release the 'Two' EP on Ethique and an album under the Pop Soda guise on the Technasia imprint. Also this year, Technaisia have pushed their ghetto credentials to the max with the 'Ghett-O-Freak' EP with DJ Godfather and '2 The Floor' with DJ Nasty carving up dancefloors all year. Not content with all that, they have just remixed Theo Parrish's 'Falling Up' which has been destroying clubs across the globe as much as the killer Carl Craig version. This exclusive 1-Deck, 3 CDJs appearance at Wax will be following on from a headline appearance at 'I Love Techno' and is going to be another essential night in Electric City. Don't miss the chance to see one of the world's freshest and most technically devastating DJs up close as he rocks the party like no other. Support comes from Maynooth home boy and EC resident Rian Ryan.

Massive new tunes from young dutch maestros.

    2) THEO PARRISH "FALLING UP (TECHNASIA REMIX)
The follow-up of the very popular Carl Craig remix.

    3) ROBERT HOOD "HOODMUSIC 2" MUSICMAN
10 years after "The Pace", the King of Minimal strikes again with this excellent release.

If Robert Hood is King of Minimal, he'd be the Prince. Excellent new loopy minimal techno Eps by French John Thomas.

Deep and emotional tune on Carl Craig's label. Detroit flavour.

    8) RAY KAJIOKA "LET THINGS SLIDE" KANZLERAMT
Bouncing and slamming with deep chord progression, "Let Things Slide" is a dancefloor number.

    9) SAMUEL L SESSION "EASY WALKER" KLAP KLAP
A good EP of the upcoming shuffle/minimal techno sound from Swedish Samuel L Session.

    10) THE MOLE "IN MY SONG/ACADIAN" WAGON REPAIR
