Just wondering if anyone knows what the heck has happened to the Nangor road in the past few work days? Last week, its been tailing back really bad towards Clondalkin, and I thought this morning, what with light traffic, it would be okay. It took me an hour to get up the bloody road, and I only went from the Lock and Key pub junction to the Parkwest junction. Grrr. I cant see whats causing it, but I have a sneaky suspicion its something really stupid that someone has changed in a traffic light sequence or something like that.
Anyone know whats causing this? Its bloody infuriating.

Yeah, Tuesday was the worst I've ever seen on that road. It's been getting steadily worse lately, but like yourself, I thought the traffic would have been lighter with most schools off. It hasn't been much better since then. Thank God I turn off at Parkwest. I wonder have they changed the lights sequence at Killeen Road junction and/or Long Mile Road junction? What's it going to be like when the buses start using the bus lanes? Ouch! The whole Clondalkin area in general must be one of the worst bottlenecks in the country.

People have probably started using the Nangor as a vain alternative to the N3 and N4, now that the new section of the ORR is open.

    Exactly.

The ORR has distributed traffic in an abhorrent fashion.
