    whats your favourite advertisement on tv.
    mine has to be the donegal catch ad with the 3 lads on the boat that ends with the line 'you may be beatiful but their keeping my idea on file...in a filing cabinet'
    in a thick donegal accent.
    its very funny as i seems completely ad-lib by the end.

    So what is your favourite ad?

    The new Sony Bravia ad is good indeed. Wouldn't mind knowing the composer of the music. Heard it before, but don't know the composer or the name of the piece.

    Hs to be the Amstel ads - absolute class. Especially the New world one and The Flood. Troy wasn't as good. What am I saying compared with most ads it was still great. Love the New World post card/beer mats also.

    What about that ridiculous ad for some furniture place, possibly navan or Dublin. It starts with the guy in the showroom saying "Hi Im Neville Knocks or something like that...." Neville is a legend :)

    The Honda "Impossible Dream" ad which has'nt been running since the summer - its the 60s pastiche with our rugged hero on a bike, in a race car, in balloon etc.

    The best ads by far IMO are the series of Isuzu Gemini ads from the 80's. Stunning car acrobatics.

    I like this one also. Not as funny but always puts me in a good mood. You definitely need sound for it as the music makes it.
