I have 7 free to air receivers and one Pace Sky box working off one of these Multiswitches effortlessly. When I attempted to connect up a Sky+ box to it, it worked fine unitl I changed the channel. "No satellite signal" is showing up. I have tried 3 new Sky+ box's, different ports, different leads, connectors, etc but no joy. I remain to get the same symptom. When the box boots up all is fine until I change the Channel. Obviously the Sky+ box is not compatiable with the Multiswitch or there is a setting to be changed in the Sky+ Box. Anyone any ideas?

That's odd. Maybe watty might be able to shed some light on this. I had set up a Pace Sky+ box to an 8x Alcad multiswitch about a year ago, and it worked flawlessly (and is still working).
Sorry I'm not of more help! :/

    EDIT:
On a site I looked at, is your multiswitch a Johansson per chance, or have you the terrestrial feed running into the multiswitch?
If you find one tuner not locking in remove the terrestrial input from multiswitch. This should cure the problem. If so, install a UHF/I.F. diplexer on OUTPUT of switch on the 950-2150 side of the stacker. Johansson are aware of the problem. The Global DIP2 DC is a good UHF/SAT diplexer.

Could be worth a try anyway. If I find out more, I'll post up.

Hi Byte, Yes it has a terrestrial input on the switch. Its a Triax switch. I was going to remove the terrestrial input, but then persumed it could'nt be the problem.

Not have a problem with the EMP Centauri. I do use 3 Euro EMP Centauri 950MHz splliters at the sat receiver end.
