I had been fairly quiet at the table and played limited number of pots. Had gotten to showdown twice recently:

Hand 1) Woodley on button raises to 550 (blinds 75/150) and I call on BB with 10,9 flop A93 I check, he bets 550 I call, turn 6, I check he bets 1000, I call. River brings the 4. I check, he thinks for 2 mins and turns over J10o.

Hand 2) Roy had raised 500 previous hand and had been folded rounded to him and he showed QQ. Blinds 75/150, He bet out 500 again and I called. Flop 882 check, check. Turn King(rainbow) I bet 1000 he puts me all in (3.5k-4k) I call with KQ he turns over K10 and I hold.

Hand 3) Im utg with 10k exactly blinds 150/300 cant remember how much the ante was but Woodley has 11.5K in the SB. I raise to 900 with A9s and he calls. Flop comes 974 with 2 clubs. He checks and I bet 1600 he asks to see my chips and raises to 3600 .... I ....

Stack sizes in hand one? I would guess the call preflop is a mistake.

Hand 2: I don't like the call preflop. However calling all in on the turn seems fine if he's donkish enough to shove with KT there

Hand 3: Woodley seems to be capable of check-raising with air or a weak nine or something. I prefer flat-calling the re-raise if you're confident you have the best hand here. Then get it in on the turn.

I don't like the raise with A9 in your position. I would have thrown this in the muck.

As played i fold you have over-represented (is thier such a term ! ) your hand with the raise UTG and he is still happy to check - raise.

You can afford to let it go and wait for a better spot.
