Aerlingus forgot our bags ..no insurance ?

    Hi All,
    Aerlingus managed to Forget to put 40 bags on the last flight out of Dubrovnik until next March on Saturday night and still no update from them with regard to my bag..what are my rights here ? Sorry if this is the wrong forum. No travel Insurance either (D'oh) ...
    lots of important stuff in my bags that I need too.
    Can I claim ?

    Check out the Aer Lingus website, it will give you all the information you need.

    Next time don't forget your travel insurance.

    At this stage you should have got a tracking number for your lost bags. Go to www.mylostbag.com, enter the number and check it's status. Ring the airport in Dubrovnik and keep hounding them on the whereabouts of teh bag, keep doing the same to Aer Lingus.

    Should't be a big deal,obviously a container of baggage left behind.

    They will re route it in over FRA/LHR/FCO or somewhere.... dont worry.

    Yes you can claim even without travel insurance.

    Aer Lingus' policy is if the bag is gone for over 24hours you can claim. Probably on't get much though.

    Thanks guys Bags have been found but it will be another day before they arrive...nice to be able to get back into my apartment :)
