Firefox Add-ons

I updated to Firefox 2.0 today and got a couple of those add-ons. Namely the one for free/cheap phone calls and the one that shows the weather.

What I'd like to know is: do these have any real effect on my pc's performance? Do they use much RAM? And might they slow down my internet connection? I have a 2MB connection but I'm still curious about the effects the add-ons might have.

    Thanks.

I have a heap of add-ons and don't notice any effect on internet or performance on the computer. There used to be a RAM issue with Firefox 1.5, but it seems to be better for me.

    Thanks.

Do you know if that Jajah add-on for free calls actually works?

52 extentions or "add-ons" and counting and only had minor issues after upgrades to different versions of Firefox...other then that all is well :)

Where can I get the free/cheap phonecalls? I can't seem to find the link in firefox.

Firefox 2 is giving me RAM problems. I read somewhere else that it had something to do with Flash? I had YouTube open in one of 6 tabs each time it froze. Anyone else getting this?

Gotten awfully dark all of a sudden.

The only add-on i installed was Noscript. Possibly the best add-on ever.

I don't like Noscript; I don't really find it necessary.
Flashblock, on the other hand, I find vital when browsing youTube -- stop them all from starting at the same time!

At least I got fasterfox working on 2.0 with a little tweaking.

One thing I do not like about FF 2.0 is the loss of alt+s to post on vBulletin.
Now you have to use Alt+shift+S, which is a pain in the arse at times.
