Was in the bath and noticed that my toenail on my big toe is completely falling off!!

I didnt bang it or catch it but back in the summer my son kept trodding on it one day at a wedding and its been totally bruised ever since! Didnt bother me as i wear almost black nail polish anyway!

Bit yucky, not looking for medical advice but as the doc is closed and its not an emergency - i just wondered has this happened to anyone before and well should i try keeping it on with a plaster or something!:D

There are 24 hour on call GP services in ireland, if your GP is closed and you have a minor thing, but not serious enough for a hospital, you can contact them.
