I'm looking for a half decent hotel to stay in Hong Kong.

Looking at the IBIS hotel in North Point and The Holiday Inn at Causeway Bay.
Think they were both about €90 or so each a night.

Not looking to spend more than €100-€120/night.

    Any help?

North Point is a bit too far from the action but Causeway Bay is an excellent place to stay. I like both the Excelsior and Park Lane hotels there.

As for the budget, going direct to the hotel (even on the internet) is not going to secure the best rate. You could try asking though travel agents here or even contact a local agent in HK. One of their main functions is reselling hotel rooms at corporate rates. One such is this one. I don't endorse them in any way and haven't used them myself. But at least it will give you an idea what the right rate to be paying for a room is.

I've also stayed at the Excelsior on Causeway Bay, It is an excellent hotel. The Eaton Hotel on Nathan Road in Kowloon is also really good.

Hi Rabies we stayed in the Imperial Hotel on Nathan Road http://www.imperialhotel.com.hk/ Its about 60Euro a night and you could'nt get a better location. Nathan Road is one of the main strips in Hong Kong and your only 5 minutes walk from Star Ferries (You'll be gratefull for that). There is also an irish bar next door that you can get a proper irish breakfast with beans and HP brown sauce for really cheap. Rooms are'nt massive but they are more than adequate and your window looks down on the street below. Stay there, you'll thank me!! :)
