Anyone remember this one? Saw this article on RTE.ie.
Legendary children's presenter Jimmy Savile is set to make his television comeback with a new series of 'Jim'll Fix It', 12 years after the show ended.
The new show, which will be called 'Jim'll Fix It: Now and Then', will visit people who wrote to the show many years ago but were not chosen to appear on television at the time, as well as making children's wishes come true.

Most of the viewers who originally wrote to the show, hoping to meet their idols, when 'Jim'll Fix It' started will now be in their 30s and 40s.
Presenter Jimmy Savile, who hosted the show from 1975 to 1994, will be joined by guest presenters in the new series, which will air on UKTV Gold.

Channel boss James Newton said that the new show would "bring a new spin to an old favourite".
Savile, who is due to turn 80 next week, said: "This is something I've been thinking of doing for some time."

"It gives us a chance to show some of the great old Fix-Its and people who were on the show then will come back to the studio and we'll see how they've fared over the past 20 years."
"We've got a team now looking up people who wrote to the show years ago and we'll try to track them down."

    Oh God save us!

I didn't realise that show ran until 94. I thought it died before then.

So this UKTV show will be another "now and then" show, similar to what they did with Terry Wogan.

    No way?
Loved that show so much, used to watch it on a Saturday evening after having run around with my little pals like wayward urchins ALL DAY and then my Mum would call me and my older brother in and we used to love it. Did you ever see his interview with Louis Theroux though?:D OH. GOOD. GOD. is all I can say!!!!

Or in Jimmys case it'll be just a "now then, now then" show.

Have to say that guy always gave me the creeps whenever I saw him (and that was long before Louis Theroux showed us how he keeps a closet full of his dead mothers clothes)!

    "jangle jangle, jewellery jewellery... "

I always wanted the chair he had. The one with little compartments that hid the "Jim'll Fix It" badges.
