    What has Redemption done to us???

    I was so close to backing him this morning cause he wouldn't have any big silly fences in his way...but was put off by the 1-2 fav and lack of places.

    Sorry man, totally missed your original post.

    I was fairly sick to see him win, it was only the day before that I was telling a mate that there is no way I'm backing any of my old unreliables this season, (Redemption, Bleu Superbe, Le Duc) to name a few.

    I just wonder did Timmy Murphy make a difference on him, he's the master of delivering a horse late and if one thing is for sure Redemption needs to be delivered late. As for no bigger obstacles, I don't know, any previous time I've seen him over hurdles he's been even more unpredictable.

    One thing is for sure, he has plenty of ability and is handicapped to win a big chase this season, the only problem being he's the Ozzy Ozbourne of horses, a real headbanger.

    Ah when I watched him win I was instantly reminded of the heartbreaking races where we backed him, watched him travel well, and then hit the deck. I was so tempted this day too..the lack of places and the odds on Fav put me off. Fair play to the horse and connections though for getting the deserved win on him.
