the center speaker works but it wont play music
ive tried every configuration possible, ive tried different software etc.
my question is though, is it possible for me to download a new sound driver (for free!) that'll allow me to play some mo' fokin tunes!

Stuff that's in my device manager
'NVidia nForce mCP audio proceesing unit' and 'NVidia nForce audio codec interface' and 'Unimodem half duplex audio device'

I doubt its an independant program thing. I really really doubt it.

Seeing as your using onboard sound, it might not be a bad idea to get an independant sound card. SB Live! HD 7.1 and Audigy cards can be gotten fairly cheap now. From about €30 if memory serves.

Well worth the investment if music is important to you.

PS... You cant get a PAIR of 7.1 speakers, hehe:p
