Rigth lads, I need to know what is the best overclockers motherboard and ram available at the moment. The board needs to be handle kentsfield chips too, As im only gonna use a e6600 as a stop gap.

Im also looking for a new case too. I was gonna geta MM case, but they are just to big, and a bit of a waste of money imho.

Im looking for something that is a bit different, but not cheap looking. Ideally i would like it to have room for 2 psu's and room for a double or tripple rad. And enough for about 5/6+ hdds.

Links would be great aswell :)

    Cheers lads

That is a great looking case, but it only holds 3 hdds. and the price ............

    Regular price:

    $359.99

WHAT THE **** ? i could rent a midget whore in amsterdamn for the weekend for that price......

unless...... Does this case give head :p

Ive also been looking at this cooler. Looks huge, buts its a tec+heatpipe combination. Which should give good cooling performance

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Titan.html

    2nd from the top.

Anyone know much about this cooler ?

Also looking at the 800-900W tagen psu.

Still dont know what mobo to get. some say asus, some say abit. others say dfi. So confusing. All i want is to be able to run about 3.6-4.0ghz stable.

Yeah i could do. but the reason i want it to hold 5/6+ hdds is that i have a efw old ones here that i would like connected too.

As for this system im ordering a raptor X and probably 1 750gb hdd. Depending if i can find it for a decent price

I think the PC8000 is overkill. PC6400 will get you to 3.6Ghz 1:1 and the Geil should o'c to ~444Mhz @ 4-4-4-12 which gets you to 4Ghz.

You seem to be going for a gaming rig, with a hefty graphics budget, so why not wait another 10 days for G80 and be ready for Vista/DX10/SM4.0? A single 8800GTX should be faster than a 7950GT Sli setup at DX9.0 games. If I was building a rig now, I'd definitely hang on for a G80 card.

Also, do you really need more SATA cables? That mobo comes with 8 already.

Whatever you decide, it should be an awesome rig. Enjoy! :)

    Abit mobo .....ftw
I've got my abit mobo up & running & i gotta say its a sexy lookin mobo, black board, flashin blue led's under it, looks well in my case. I'll let you know how it clocks next week. I'll also let ya know how the tuniq & cool labs goes also, looks good so far, never go over 40' max load (measured from the core) at stock settings with fan on low....amazing cooler.

yeah i was thinking of waiting for a g80, i suppose i can keep my 7900gtx for now. I was thinking of mayve the 1950xtx for my current pc, 220£ on overclockers.

Yeah i might go for the geil, and save some money. i dont really wanna go over 3.6ghz on air anyway.

The reason i am looking at more sata cables, is because these have a red glow from them.
