My brother's 306 wouldn't start this morning cause of a flat battery so he put in a new one and now his key needs to be reprogrammed to the immobilser, any ideas how to do this?
    Its a '00 Peugeot 306 HDi.
    Any help appreciated :)

Has he got an owners manual? I would imagine its in there.

    Hi,

Thats a bit odd. The immob should not loose it's code when powered down. Did he jump start it? If so, did he get the polarity wrong by mistake? Does he have a spare to try? What does the immo light do?

It sounds like it needs a proper diagnosis done.
