FX55 or Opteron 175

    currently I'm still running a FX55

    system spec is

    FX55 Clawhammer on DangerDen RBX block(DangerDen Pump, BlackIce Rad, 5.25 Res.)
    Epox EP-9NPA+Sli
    2x 1GIG OCZ EL Platium 2-3-2-5
    just one 7950 GX2
    2x 36Gig Raptors Raid0
    2x Seagate 200Gig Raid0
    2x WD 250Gig Raid0
    X-Fi Xtreme Music
    2x NEC DVDRW
    OCZ 700w PSU

    mobo and PSU are bougth qual sli certified

    just wondering would it be worth sticking in a opteron 175 instead of keeping my FX55

    depends if you want to overclock really, Anddepend on the stepping code of the cpu. Some of them have been known to hit well over 3ghz. i would reccomend you go to www.dfi-street.com And have a look at the overclocking list of the cpus. Im sure people there will be better suited ot answer your questions too :)
