    Thinking about getting an xbox. Do you have to pay a subscription to play games online? How much is it? Can you download or play other games online?

    To play multiplayer on-line you do nee to get xbox live which is e59.99 if you buy it on-line via the marketplace. You can get it slightly cheaper from other sources or as part of the deal with the camera. You can buy and download arcade games without needing a live subscription though but you would need to buy MS Points for these.
