Music needed for film showreel

Hi everyone,

Am currently putting together a website for a film company I'm involved in and we're cutting our film showreel at the moment. the showreel will be approx 1 minute long, and we need cool music to accompany it on the website. Due to copyright reasons we can't use certain music so we are looking for a band or musician to allow us to use some of their own compositions if possible. the music should be instrumental with no lyrics, ideally we like the opening 30 seconds of 'lose control' by Ash from 1977. we need something snappy, lively and cool to fit over the images like a trailer.

we have only a budget of around 150euro for this I'm afraid, but we do make a lot of short films and corporate projects that require music and these projects are generally fairly well paid so there is scope for more work. if you have some examples that you could email us, or a myspace for us to hear samples, that'd be great, thanks!

We need this in the next week or so (early nov) if possible!

I must say dude that thats some pretty cool stuff you got there, your genre is poluted at the moment with too many copies of the redneck manifesto and ten past 7 but your dam good.

Hey, thanks for those niall..we're seeing if they might fit at the mo. We're still having a bit of a brain meltdown in terms of what we're looking for - we need something that has a strong drum beat and builds up with guitars and then ends fairly abruptly after 1 minute. the del pezzalin song is cool but i don't think it'll fit to the images we're cutting, it all needs to be really snappy and build up within the 1st 10 seconds or so. another song we think would work really well is 'the hardest button to button' by the white stripes or 'jet black new year' by Thursday...if anyone has any thoughts do let me know, cheers
