SE last night live 1/2 PLHE, I have been knocked out of the Fitz 270 at 1am and am on a misison to recover my dosh....

    Hand 1:
Villain 1 is bad but not appalling, Villain 2 is drunk and clueless (but seems to be having a good time)
    I have 325 behind, V1 covers, V2 has 100 or so

I get KQs in the cutoff, plenty of limpers and I pot it to 12
Villain 1 calls in the SB, Villain 2 calls in the BB
    2 other callers in MP

    Flop is JQQ

Checked around to me and I pot it
V1 calls and V2 calls, everyone else folds

    Turn is a nine

V1 bets the pot and I.......? (V2 is all-in for his remaining change)

    Hand 2:
I have 650 behind and am dealt AhKh UTG

Villain is a regular SE loser and a dreadful player, he will play any ace, any two sooted cards and whatever he's having himself - from any position, for any raise.
    He has 375 or so.

I limp in (thoughts?) and 7 other players do likewise
Villain (BB) pots it to 16 and I re-pot to 48 or so
Everyone else folds and Villain calls.

    Flop is AQQ
    Villain pots it and I......?

Hand 1: Stick it in there. Sucks if he has KT but against a bad players range you have to call.

Hand 2: Depends on the villain. Sounds abit like Mick. If it's Mick I call. Could be any pair here

don't know in hand 1 although I recognise Villain 1
Villain 2 is a drunk random punter (yes, I have heard myself referred to in this way before...)

I get it in on the first hand. I am leaning towards a fold on hand two.

I left without my buy - in (again). On a dreadful run over the last two weeks. Suffice to say the key hands involved me being ahead on the turn when it went in but behind on the river. :(:(

wow man, sounds like you're really down. You know, when things run bad for me, there's a few little words that always pick me up and get me ready for the fray again....

    courtesy of Mike Caro:

    "I am a lucky player.
A powerful winning force surrounds me"

whenever it looks as though I'm muttering incoherently to myself at the poker table, I'm actually repeating that mantra over and over and over and over.....

    Now go and win

Hand 1: Need more info on main villain i.e. how has he played previous hands, does he slowplay/bet when hit

Hand 2: Smooth call, we have a huge stranglehold on the hand, let him bet the turn aswell then reraise

well if anyone cares, the results were as follows:

Hand 1 - I SHOVE IT ALL IN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he has KT - f**king fish.
I congratulate him for having the balls to draw....;)

(edit: Villain 2 had 22 btw, lol)

Hand 2 - I SHOVE IT ALL IN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    he has QQ
ay caramba! the sun shines on every dog's balls some day

oh, yes and I reversed the actual sequence of the hands so I busted out from 650 to zero in ten minutes flat and went home happy with my biggest ever live losing day.
Tried to kick the dog but missed....

    I'll be back

    ha!

and yes, against these two particular villains I shove IT ALL IN BABY every time in those scenarios, just unfortunate.
