Coverting Excel to mysql

    Hi
    Is there anyway this can be done without buying software....Is there anyfree stuff out there that will do this or will i have to write a script myself?

    Maybe you can export the Excel spreadsheet to CSV and then use phpMyAdmin to import that. No extra stuff required.

    You could write a macro in Excel that connects to MySql through classic ado and update that way but this may be overkill and requires you to know vba and ado. The csv route sounds easist to me.
