    Guess not.

Maybe try the DUCAC website, see if there's a link to it there?

Ah yes the Mega League aka "soccer for the masses"

I did this last year and tbh all i can say is that is a serious waste of time. I wanted to play football for the college but alas I was cut at the final trial so I thought I would give this ago. Big mistake!

It is really poorly organised. For example I never once played a game with a ref present so teams have to rely on fair play with each other and hence fouls, offside etc. become a problem, we didnt even have nets once because the groundsman was having lunch! There is a massive problem with teams not showing up which means you trek all the way out to the playing fields in Santry which takes most of your day away only to not get a game . Its really akin to just taking a ball out to a park and having a kick around with ur mates, which would actually probably be more fun.

I would advise joining a local team or if you have any friends in UCD to join a superleague team which I have also played in and it is far superior (refs, teams always show up, easier to get to than Santry etc.)

However if you still want to give it a go, the office of the guys who organises it is room 3051 in the arts block. Just go up to him and if you have a team already organised let him kno, or if you're looking for a team to be put on, he'll sort it out. You can get any other details from him also.

Yeah Santry is miles away and means 2 buses for most people.

Didn't realise the Megaleague was so badly organised. I've played in the UCD Superleague and it's very well organised.

Personally i dont think the mega league is that badly organised, ive played one full season and one season as a part time player and never before has it happened that the opposition failed to show.

Also belfield is equally as troublesome to get to for most people as its a bus to town then a bus out again....
