cost or replacing flat roof?

    Hey folks,

I need a basic idea of the cost of replacing a flat roof.

The roof is approx 20feet x 14 feet.

I want to have the existing felt covering removed, the chipboard removed, insulation put down between the joists, re-roof with new boards, then a new covering laid down (felt or whatever the standard is nowadays).

I just need some basic idea of the cost .. materials + labour for someone to do this. I'm in co. Kildare, close to edenderry if location makes any difference.

And .. how big a job is this? could someone with reasonable DIY skills do it themselves? I'm pretty sure i could remove the existing roof (i'm really good at dismantling things!!! :D ) , stick in the insulation and put on the roof myself . . its putting down the new felt that i'm not so sure about. I'd have to redo the flashing (if thats the correct term) where the flat roof meets the end gable of the house. And i'm not sure what i'd need to stick down the felt, or how to finish it off around the edges of the roof.
any info would be much appreciated.

    thanks,
    SOP
