Hi folks

Im interested in your experiances on how best to perform the moment ruiner ie putting on a condom

This is what usually happens to me

Just finished foreplay and pleasuring the girl would usually be fairy ready then reach for condom struggle to open packet than rapidly losing readyness turn away from girl and struggle to put it on all the while girl just lying there waiting!. By the time its on no longer ready and have to work my self up again usually having to ask the girl to help out.

After words usually wait a miniute roll over away from girl remove condom drop it on floor fix foreskin then roll back over and cuddle awwwww!! dont know if this is the most appropriate way of storing condom untill your finished in bed and flush it down the toilet?

well thats just me id love to hear your experiances girls what are you thinking when your boyfriends are struggling with this also do ou find it disgusting if he just drops it on the ground?

Eww to the dropping on the floor. Can you not just wrap it in a tissue and put it in the bin for a bit? Hang on - you are checking to make sure it's intact too, aren't you? Cos there's nothing that ruins a moment quite as well as pregnancy*

Can you not ask the girl to help with putting it on? Make it part of foreplay?


*obviously not for those who are trying to have kids and all that...

Have the condom within easy reach with tissues alkso within easy reach...
Dont stpop pleasuring the girl while you get the packet open. If you are giving oral for example take the packet down with you then before you are finished place the condom on and then move up and into penetration.

As one poster said... get her to put it on for you.

when you have finsihed place it in the tissue paper an wrap carefully

Bad idea to flush it down the toilet too by the way. They can easily clog things up and also they don't biodegrade in water so it's bad for the environment as well.

If putting them on is so much trouble, perhaps you should try a different brand, Durex do a range of Easy-on ones. It really shouldn't take more than a few seconds once you get the hang of it.

I usually put it on before we get down to the oul 'in out', although I understand every penis has a mind of its own and does what it wants when it wants.

A great way to keep the fluidity is to have the packet already ripped a little and under the pillow so you just slide the hand under the pillow, easily remove the 'baby stopper 5000' and this should reduce the 'waiting time' your Maid Marrion must endure while you encase your manly beast in latex.

About where it should go after....plan a little, have a bin close by or plastic bag.

Also, please dont flush them down the loo. Wrapped in tissue in the bin is the best option. The enviroment suffers and if your toilet backed up you could be picking up 6mth old connies off the floor and nobody wants that!

Putting a condom on with ones mouth is pretty darn tricky, not to mention the unpleasantness of doing so if you've got spermicidal lubricant on it (Mmm, nonoxynol-9, yum). Not to discourage people from trying, but it takes some practicing.

Still, getting your partner to put it on, or at least to help maintain your erection, isn't a bad idea.

Please don't flush it down the toilet, it may clog your toilet - but if not some poor guy (or gal) at the local sewage treatment plant has to take it out of the screening unit for you and thats just not fair. Same goes for fag butts btw although the grit remover for them is usually automatic cos there's thousands!

Yuck at the thoughts of you just dropping it on the floor, just put it in the bin and certainly not the toilet:eek:
As for it ruining the moment, there are so many ways around this as others have suggested. Get your girlfriend to put it on for you as part of your foreplay, if you put it on yourself she doesn't have to just lie there waiting, she can still touch you and herself and looking at that may keep you interested. There are lots of brands of condoms out there too so try out some different ones as some are dreadful and others are great.
If you are in a serious exclusive relationship with this girl are condoms the only form of contraception you can use? She could go on the Pill, use a diapragham etc.

How long does it take you to put on a condom? It normally takes me under 30 seconds from taking out of the draw. Maybe you just need to practice at bit, opening the packet and sliding it on. It really shouldn't take you so long that you lose wood. If it is taking that long, you can always pause after taking it out of the packet, rev your girlfriends engine so to speak, and the slide it on

Really does depend on the condom, I find those cheap ones you buy in the machines in pubs/clubs very akward to put on. Pick them up in the chemist, Durex and Mates are the only way to go.

I always keep mine under the pillow, as another poster said and as they also said, just a small rip across the packet, saves a couple seconds putting it on.

Getting the girl to put it on is fine to, build it into part of the foreplay; with an ex of mine she liked doing it, I don't think she thrusted me!!

You feel like a muppet while she's lying there and you're sorting the condom out and she's feeling like a muppet lying there waiting for you to sort it out. Just do it or get her to help and get on with it.
As for dropping it on the floor? EW! Either wrap it in a tissue or get up and put it in a bin. It only takes 30 seconds.
