Issue with space between lines in word

I'm working on a word document on my new computer and there seem to be some diffences in how my new computer is handling the space between lines. Under Format->Paragraph, is Line Spacing set as Single and also is the Style set as Normal? (under the Formatting Toolbar where Font Size, Bold, Italics, Underline, etc is listed).

There's also a space before and space after paragraph setting. I don't have Word installed here anymore so I can't check exactly where but I think it's in Format, Paragraph as well.
